About Middle East IFRS & Accounting Summit 2009

The Summit now in its fifth year is going to focus on the important IFRS developments since the global economic crisis has taken hold, highlighting what’s now been changed/amended in accounting standards globally and what they mean for practitioners like you. Delegates will have the opportunity to find out first hand about the latest standards to be set by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and all the very latest updates. The IASB who set these standards are very keen to do more for the region and we’re delighted they will be outlining their aspirations during the Summit.

The Middle East IFRS & Accounting Summit 2009, will bring together senior representatives from around the World involved in shaping the accounting and reporting sector. It will provide the ideal forum to discuss and debate the latest developments affecting government and business. Key issues will be discussed by appropriate and senior level speakers together with practical case studies that will provide delegates with the tools and techniques to maximise efficiency, along with featured in-depth technical sessions addressing the most important IFRS/IAS issues coupled with the latest updates. In addition, the registration fee is realistically priced with delegates being able to book their place now at the Summit for just $1695 and there are also two optional specially designed workshops:
