Authors/speakers with accepted papers

Dear Author:

1. Author Registration Deadline: Every registered participant will receive a hard copy of the Book of Abstracts (BOA) of the Conference in addition to the access username and password for the online Conference Proceedings that includes all the accepted full papers. It is very important you know that full papers will be included in the conference proceedings online ONLY AFTER THE REGISTRATION FEES OF THE PRESENTING AUTHOR ARE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 5, 2007. So please make sure that your payment of registration fees will reach us before the deadline of November 5, 2007 in order to guarantee that your paper will appear in the online conference proceedings.
   
   
2. Certificate of attendance and peer review: Authors attending the conference will receive a certificate of attendance. Also a statement of peer-review can be provided upon request to certify that the accepted paper has been peer-reviewed by at least two reviewers, passed the review process and accordingly has been presented and published in the conference proceedings.



3. Power Point Presentations: All presentations it is assumed will be done in a power point format (ppt or pps files). Please ensure you provide us with a copy of your power point presentation at least 1 week before the conference. The presentation time is 15 minutes only followed by 5 minutes for discussion. If your presentation has any additional software embedments like (Macromedia shockwave movie SWF) it might be advised you make your presentation from your own laptop, otherwise all presentations will be loaded onto the conference computer system ready for your session presentation.



4. Presenting Author's Bio: Presenting authors are requested to prepare a bio statement of about 50 words to be used by the session chairs to introduce the speakers. Please send this along with your presentation at least 1 week before the conference. A tip for preparing your biography please, don't replicate your CV or bullet point it.



5. Hotel reservations: We would like to remind you to confirm you hotel reservations and your flight details, to avoid any inconvenient surprises. Abu Dhabi is an extremely busy city especially during this period of the year.



6. Stay in touch: For latest updates about the conference always visit the website at www.acevents.ae/ifhs2007 , and don't forget to check the "latest updates" tag appearing on the option boxes at the top left-hand corner of the home page of the conference.
