IFHS OBJECTIVES

The International Federation for Highrise Structures (IFHS) is a non-profit, non-governmental association, which belongs to all its active individual members who consist of architects, design engineers, contractors, researchers, educationalists, clients, financiers, banking institutions, and university faculties.

The major activities of the IFHS are defined in their goals, which can be summarized as follows:

• To generate new knowledge through research and assemble all other available information on highrise structure and develop means to disseminate them to all concerned.
• To sponsor and organize international conferences and workshops on highrise structure problems at proper places and times to help generate interest, present innovative ideas and methods.
